The Clean Air Villages programme is reducing emissions in hotspots of poor air quality (villages) across London. We are working with businesses and communities across ten villages to make their deliveries and servicing more efficient, using both individual and collective action.
Recognising local characteristics, each village requires a different solution. CRP is creating low and zero emission directories, helping businesses share suppliers with their neighbours, and even trialling a shared electric van.
Update April 2019
CRP is pleased to have secured an additional £498,343 from DEFRA’s Clean Air Grant to continue and extend Clean Air Villages over the financial year 2019/20. Many thanks to London Borough of Lewisham for fronting the application, and to participating partner organisations including the London Boroughs of Camden, Hammersmith and Fulham, Lambeth and Wandsworth, The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster City Council.
