Property X-Change forms part of the London Recovery Programme, led by the Mayor of London and London Councils through the High Streets for All mission. The project was jointly developed by the Greater London Authority, Confederation of British Industry, Cross River Partnership, Federation of Small Businesses, British Property Federation, London Councils, BusinessLDN, Guardians of the Arches, the Mayor of London, and Transport for London Property, with support from the Bloomberg Foundation.
Property X-Change has a vision for thriving high streets for all and has built an open platform for knowledge exchange amongst a diverse network of high street champions. This will aid the recovery from Covid-19 and create a bright future for London’s high streets.
Through a range of in-person and online events, networking, social media and case studies and best practice for all things High Street-related, the project brings together diverse stakeholders from across London. It aims to provide a constantly updated shared space to exchange information, tips and encouragement on making the High Street as equitable as possible and tackling issues facing London today such as rising rates and homogenisation of the high street.
