Cross River Partnership (CRP) is putting communities at the heart of everything that it does.
This means co-designing, co-delivering and co-evaluating all of our projects. Sometimes this is with residents, sometimes with businesses, sometimes visitors, sometimes all three. In this way, we maximise the benefits achieved, together.
Here’s some of our recent achievements

CRP completes its award-winning 6-month road-fed trial at the Waterloo Freight Hub, delivering over 20,000 parcels and saving over 2,500 kg of CO2.

6 School Streets and 300 sqm of green space delivered so far through our Mayor of London funded Healthy Streets Everyday II programme.

CRP’s EU‑funded Just Streets programme co‑creates School Streets and heritage walking routes with local schools, residents and community groups.

A 9‑month micro‑logistics hub in Pimlico enabled 111,236 low‑carbon deliveries, reducing freight impacts and enhancing the public realm in central London.

CRP’s Healthy Streets Everyday II programme delivered campaigns that encouraged more Londoners to walk, wheel and cycle, improving health and wellbeing across the city.

CRP spoke at major events such as the ALICE Logistics Innovation Summit and Future Transport Forum to inspire community‑focused change.

CRP partnered with UCL to deliver a workshop exploring how express rail freight and last‑mile logistics can help deliver cleaner urban freight across London.

CRP’s cargo bike trials offer zero‑emission deliveries and promote cargo bike use among residents and businesses.

CRP engages with the logistics operators such as EVRI and Amazon to encourage river based freight into London.

CRP engaged 30 logistics operators across London in the SGL Kerbside Management Trial to test innovative tech for cleaner, more efficient deliveries.

CRP coordinates the Central London Sub‑Regional Transport Partnership, bringing boroughs together to advance sustainable transport.

Since 2021, CRP has delivered traffic monitoring and analysis for South Bank BID, helping inform improvements that create a cleaner, safer and more welcoming South Bank.

With Heal’s and UPS, CRP ran a 10‑month walking freight trial in Camden, delivering over 12,000 parcels by e‑assist trolley instead of vans, cutting emissions and congestion.

Healthy Streets Everyday delivered 23 new greening improvements across 11 London boroughs, making streets more pedestrian friendly and improving air quality.
