Shepherd’s Bush Shared EV Launch

26th January 2022 / Posted by CRP Team

This month, London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham have launched the shared electric vehicle (EV) project in Shepherd’s Bush. This is a legacy of CRP’s Clean Air Villages 3 (CAV3) programme and CRP is supporting the borough with business engagement.

The shared EV is free for businesses across the borough to use. The project aims to promote vehicle sharing schemes and the use of EVs in place of more polluting alternatives. This concept first started with a shared EV in Brixton, which launched as part of the Clean Air Villages 2 (CAV2) programme.

The EV in Shepherd’s Bush is being provided by Zipcar and parks and charges at the W12 shopping centre. Eligible businesses need to register with Zipcar and can then book the vehicle for business journeys. The four Clean Air Villages programmes have been funded by Defra’s Air Quality Grant.

If you’re a business in the borough and would like to sign up, please contact CRP Project Manager Kate Fenton.
