Buddy programme in action – Rachael Aldridge shares her learnings

CRP’s buddy initiative allows past and present CRP staff to connect and learn from each other. At the end of last year, my buddy Alistair Huggett (London Borough of Southwark) took me on the grand tour of Bankside! I got to see the legacy of CRP’s projects along the river, and even current projects CRP is working on, such as the Illuminated River. Alistair reminded me that CRP was originally formed to deliver the Millennium and Hunbergord Footbridges across the Thames, and it was interesting to see the walkway from Bankside to Southbank that CRP and its partners installed along the river. I am looking forward to meeting with the whole CRP Buddy group soon to discuss plans for 2020 and beyond!
