2023/24 Defra Air Quality Grant

CRP are pleased to announce that we submitted our application last week for the next round of Air Quality Grants from the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra). The scheme helps eligible local authorities improve air quality and has awarded more than £90 million since 1997. 

In recent years, CRP and project partners have been successful in our bid funding, award-winning schemes like Clean Air Villages, as well as Clean Air Logistics for London and our current Smarter Greener Logistics programme. 

For this round, CRP have partnered with 21 organisations to reduce nitrogen dioxide emissions and other harmful emissions produced by how we move goods and services around London.  We hope for a successful bid when Defra announces the results in Spring 2024.
