September SGL Update – Focus on Monitoring!

Monitoring is an essential part of CRP’s Smarter Greener Logistics (SGL) Programme as it enables us to understand the impacts of the various interventions and trials we have implemented.  

Now that we’re entering the final few months of the programme, here are some of the insights our monitoring has shown us so far: 

• 2,100kg of food waste has been diverted from incineration because of the City Soil Lab pilot 

• 12,135 packages were delivered as part of The London Light Freight Walking Trial 

• 9 different operators have taken part in our Digital Kerbside Management Trial so far 

We’ll be sharing more information about the impacts of the SGL interventions and trials at the end of the programme!
