Feryal continues business engagement for Clean Air Villages

25th October 2019 / Posted by CRP Team

I am pleased to continue working with CRP on Clean Air Villages, a project which aims to reduce emissions in 13 hotspots of poor air quality across the London boroughs of Lewisham, Camden, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, Lambeth, City of Westminster, Wandsworth, and also Cadogan Estates.

Since becoming a mum, I have become even more anxious about the levels of air pollution we are exposed to in London and the impact this is having on public health. Being part of Cross River Partnership and working a project which encourages both individual and collective action to improve air quality really helps reduce my daily concerns!

So far I have spoken to businesses in six hotspots – Drummond Street, Covent Garden, Earls Court, Ladbroke Grove, Lewisham, and Shepherds Bush. Looking forward to visiting the other ‘villages’!
