Clean Air Villages partners visit consolidation hub in Dartford

29th January 2020 / Posted by CRP Team

As part of the Clean Air Villages project, we are always looking for ways to reduce the quantity of freight vehicles coming into London and consolidating deliveries in an efficient way. Whilst working on the project, CRP have come across best practice from St Guys & St Thomas NHS trust who have started to consolidate their deliveries through the Dartford based hub, owned by CEVA logistics. This is a great example to show how an organisation could reduce up to 90% of deliveries by using a consolidation method. We invited the partners of the project to come and visit the new facility to see consolidation in action!
