Through CRP’s Consultancy Services offer, CRP is providing support and guidance to Westminster City Council’s Transport and Connectivity team to support the delivery of a 6-month micro-logistics hub trial in Soho, the heart of the West End.

The trial, aiming to launch in early 2026, supports the Council’s goals under the Air Quality Action Plan and Zero Carbon City 2040 Climate Emergency Action Plan and aligns with several key strategies, including the (draft) Sustainable Transport Strategy and the Freight, Servicing and Deliveries Strategy and Action Plan. The project also supports the city’s broader vision for fairer communities, healthier streets, and a decarbonised urban transport network by 2040.

This micro logistics hub builds on the success of Westminster City Council and Cross River Partnership’s 2023 trial in Pimlico, which led to substantial emissions savings over the 9-month trial period including over 4,000kg of CO2 and 15,000g of NOx. The success of the trial, located within the Q-Park Pimlico facility, led to the low emission courier extending their operations at the Pimlico hub for an additional 12 months.
