Creating Just Streets With Londoners

We are thrilled to see the progress of our Horizon Europe project, Just Streets, in London.

Over the past few months, our London delivery partners, London Borough of Lambeth, Harley Street Business Improvement District, and Camden Town Unlimited have made significant strides in implementing street interventions to create more equitable and safer streets.

Take the latter, for instance. Camden Town Unlimited is working to promote active travel in the bustling part of London by encouraging walking through “Heritage Trails” between Camden and King’s Cross Station. They have engaged in several co-creation sessions with the public to gather diverse perspectives and ideas, including discussions on what the trails should encompass and what the wayfinding should entail.

It’s wonderful to see our partners involve the public in creating solutions that benefit everyone. We eagerly anticipate implementing these interventions by next spring.
