West End Air Summit17th July 2017 / Posted by CRP Team
On 28th June 2017 CRP delivered the West End Air Summit on behalf of four Business Improvement Districts – Baker Street Quarter Partnership; Heart of London Business Alliance, Marble Arch London and New West End Company. These BIDs are all collaborating to upscale the impact of their efforts in improving air quality in London’s West End.
The event launched this joined up approach, including their ongoing commitment to the West End Buyers Club www.westendbuyersclub.london, a CRP-designed shared suppliers scheme saving businesses money and tackling air pollution.
Jace Tyrrell, Chief Executive, New West End Company; Shirley Rodrigues, Deputy Mayor for Environment, Greater London Authority; Penny Alexander, Chief Executive, Baker Street Quarter Partnership; and Councillor Robert Davis MBE Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Business, Culture and Heritage, Westminster City Council all provided insight into what their organisations are doing to support cleaner air in London. In particular, the Marylebone Low Emission Neighbourhood (www.marylebonelen.org) is also helping to bring many of the stakeholders together to deliver on multiple aspects of air quality.
