Waterloo Freight Hub Trial Earns Spot on CiTTi Awards Shortlist

21st October 2025 / Posted by Susannah Wilks

The Waterloo Freight Hub Trial in London Borough of Lambeth has been shortlisted for the ‘Last Mile Logistics Award’ run by the City Transport and Traffic Innovation Magazine (CiTTi).

CRP and London Borough of Lambeth’s Climate Response Strategy Manager Elliot Quinn presented to a panel of judges on 9th October 2025.  We are up against some large scale logistics industry players!

The trial has already delivered over 20,000 parcels from the hub, saving more than 2,500kg of carbon emissions.

The trial has been possible because of the support of organisations including London Borough of Lambeth, Delivery Mates, Department for Transport, Defra, London and Continental Railways and Network Rail.

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony held on Tuesday 25th November 2025.  Keep your finger’s crossed for us!
