Visit to ARUP’s SoundLab

CRP’s Deliver London team visited ARUP’s SoundLab for a demonstration of their visualisation tool which allows clients to experience projects in development, and helps ARUP’s project team realise better results. We saw 2D drawings morph into 3D animations with accompanying sound, including ambient noise, and explored virtual spaces which allows us a user’s perspective of projects still in the design phase.

Seeing High Speed Two brought to life or “puffs” of air pollution hotspots across central London easily facilitated a constructive conversation between the CRP team and our hosts from ARUP and helped us appreciate how new technologies are changing project management.
