London Mayor and Air Quality

19th July 2016 / Posted by CRP Team

On 5th July CRP attended the GLA’s Clean Air Act Anniversary Address event at Great Ormond Street Hospital to hear the Mayor launch his consultation on new measures to tackle air quality.  The early stage consultation ends on 29th July and you can respond here http://talklondon.london.gov.uk/content/cleaning-londons-air-pollution.

The Mayor is keeping his campaign promises to make radical changes to improve air quality and meet EU limits across the capital by 2025. In addition to the consultation on the new toxicity charge (t-charge) and extension to the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ), the Mayor’s office have announced their commitment to remove traffic from Oxford Street.
