Help Shape Fairer Streets – Join Just Street’s Twin City Programme

Cross River Partnership is pleased to share this exciting opportunity for London’s local authorities to join the Just Streets’ Twin City Programme, part of the Horizon Europe-funded initiative focused on transforming urban streets into inclusive, sustainable spaces for active mobility. 

This programme invites 12 cities to become Twin Cities and collaborate with a network of 32 international partners—including Westminster City Council and London Borough of Southwark—on rethinking how our streets serve communities. It’s a chance to learn from leading European cities and bring that knowledge back to London. 

Why London Boroughs Should Apply 

As a Twin City, your borough will: 

• Collaborate internationally with cities like Milan, Riga, and Amsterdam on street transformation strategies. 

• Gain practical insights into mobility justice, participatory design, and behavioural change. 

• Receive tailored support to develop a local roadmap for inclusive mobility. 

• Attend workshops in Ljubljana and Milan, with travel and accommodation costs covered. 

• Showcase your work at the JUST STREETS Final Event in 2027. 

This is a fully funded opportunity to build capacity, share knowledge, and position your borough as a leader in equitable urban mobility. 

Key Dates
