Greener City Fund Opportunity

11th June 2019 / Posted by CRP Team

London wants to become the world’s first National Park City, with more than half of the city’s area being green by 2050.  The Mayor has created the £12 million Greener City Fund to help achieve this.

There is still time to apply for a Community Tree Planting Grant from £5,000 to £50,000 (deadline: 24 June 2019), before  London National Park City launches on July 22nd, part of a week-long festival.

Additional community green space grants will become available this summer – join this Groundwork mailing list to stay informed. For more ideas about what you can do to make London Greener, see CRP’s Healthy Greening in central London report. Alternatively, email CRP’s Business Engagement Officer, Sefinat Otaru, for more information.
