FREVUE – ‘It’s a wrap!’

14th January 2019 / Posted by CRP Team

CRP’s Freight Electric Vehicles in Urban Europe (FREVUE) Project will shortly be officially closed down following payment to project partners for the final claims.   This unique and successful €14 million project was co-funded by the EU Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) and co-ordinated by CRP.  The project demonstrated how large electric freight vehicles and trucks could contribute to some of the solutions to poor air quality in urban areas.  The FREVUE partnership consisted of 32 local and European partners from both the public and private sectors concentrated around the cities of Amsterdam, Lisbon, London, Madrid, Milan, Oslo, Rotterdam and Stockholm.   London partners included Westminster City Council, UPS, UK Power Networks, Imperial College, Transport for London and Arup.

CRP would like to thank the European Commission, it’s project partners and stakeholders in helping to make the 4.5 year project a resounding success.  For further information, please contact CRP’s Principal Programme Manager, Tanja Dalle-Muenchmeyer.
