Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Delivery Plan

24th June 2019 / Posted by CRP Team

Earlier this month CRP, as a member of the Mayor of London’s Electric Vehicle (EV) Infrastructure Taskforce, attended the launch of the new EV Infrastructure Delivery Plan. To meet the aim of London becoming a zero-carbon city by 2050, the plan highlights how there are currently 20,000 Electric Vehicles in London, 1,700 electric taxis and Europe’s largest electric bus fleet, 175 rapid charge points and 1,100 lamp post charging points. In addition, the plan discusses strategies going forward, for example, the delivery of London’s first rapid charging hub, the publication of charge point and EV guidances, and the creation of a new online tool/ ‘heat mapping’ to identify energy grid constraints.
