National Walking Month
26th April 2022 / Posted by CRP TeamMay is the Living Streets National Walking Month. The challenge is to #try20 – walk for 20 minutes each day during May. This nationwide incentive has many benefits for both you and the city. By walking instead of using a car you can help improve your local air quality. But walking is not just about your environment, walking even for a short time improves your overall health and can reduce the risk of a number of preventable health conditions such as heart disease, certain cancers and Type 2 diabetes. It can also improve your mood, increase your vitamin D levels and help you engage with your local area and community.
