St Gildas Junior School – School Street

A School Street has been introduced at St Gildas Junior School in Haringey to encourage walking and cycling to school. Vehicle movements are restricted along Dickenson Road and Tregaron Avenue on weekdays at school pick up and drop off times. The School Street was introduced in September 2020 as part of Haringey’s Streetspace Plans to give people safe alternatives to travel around the borough. The school street aims to improve road safety, accessibility and air quality by encouraging walking, cycling and travelling by public transport to school.
