The Healthy Streets Everyday programme helped fund two reports for The Northbank BID, aimed at enhancing and greening The Strand.
The reports supplement the BID’s wider improvements to the area, and have the potential to make a tangible change to both the aesthetic and pedestrian experience of The Strand.
Additionally, greening provides substantial benefits to the resilience of our streets. It helps to mitigate the effects of climate change, improve air quality and biodiversity, and also improve the health and wellbeing of those using the space.
