An inner core area where physical changes and restrictions will be introduced to reduce traffic flows and restrict access for non ULEVs. This inner core will cover the Barbican area (Beech Street/Golden Lane/Silk Street/Moor Lane/Fore Street).
Two of the largest residential housing estates in the City are situated within the LEN – the Barbican Estate (4,000 residents) and the Golden Lane estate (1,500 residents).
