A School Street has been introduced at Princess May Primary School in Hackney to encourage walking and cycling to school. Vehicle movements are restricted along Princess May Road, Barrett’s Grove, Wordsworth Road and Cressington Close on weekdays between 8:30am to 9:30am and 3:00pm to 4:00pm. The School Street was introduced in September 2020 using an experimental traffic order and will be trialled for a maximum period of 18 months.
