Low Emissions Logistics

Low Emission Logistics is a partnership project between the boroughs of Lambeth, Croydon, Greenwich, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, Southwark and Wandsworth with the principle aim of reducing congestion and pollutant emissions caused by delivery and servicing vehicles.

Cross River Partnership is working with these seven London boroughs to improve traffic congestion and air quality by proposing innovative solutions to influence and streamline business deliveries and procurement.

CRP is undertaking a research and implementation project to:

  • Understand the current patterns of deliveries to businesses in specific geographical areas within each borough
  • Identify innovative solutions that can be implemented in these areas to improve air quality and reduce traffic congestions
  • Engage with businesses to implement these actions
  • Support area-based delivery and service planning
