CRP is working with Haringey Council to make Crouch End a cleaner, healthier place to work and do business in by improving local air quality.
By raising awareness of air pollution and offering advice and services to help businesses switch to lower emission energy and travel options, we will work towards improving local air quality whilst also saving businesses money.
To build up a picture of how business operations in Crouch End impact air pollution, we are collecting information on their energy use, deliveries and collections as well as staff travel. We are also interested in how infrastructure can support sustainable travel options and are exploring options for electric vehicle charge points, cargo bicycles, bicycle stands and pedestrian improvements.
Businesses will be able to receive free support on deliveries, servicing and active travel, through workshops or one to one support. In addition, we will be offering free cycle safety seminars to local employees.
Together this will support Haringey Council to shape their plans for Crouch End, developing interventions that reduce the negative impacts of business related traffic, while supporting more efficient operations that can save businesses both time and money.
