CRP is a proud supporter of Clean Air Day, a nationwide day of action raising awareness of air pollution and the ways to it reduce pollution and improve health. Clean Air Day is co-ordinated by the environmental charity Global Action Plan.

Clean Air Together by Cross River Partnership
6:30pm – 8:30pm Thu 21 June, at NLA Galleries, The Building Centre, 26 Store Street, WC1E 7BT.
Led by the Deputy Mayor for the Environment and Energy, Shirley Rodrigues, the event will celebrate and inspire action to clean London’s air together. RSVP at www.cleanairtogether.eventbrite.co.uk
Clean Air Walking Route Launch by Cross River Partnership
6:00pm – 6:30pm Thu 21 June, meeting outside Warren Street Underground Station at 6pm, W1T 5AU.
Join CRP and special guests for the launch of a clean air walking route to The Building Centre – a route with 78% less air pollution than Tottenham Court Road. A guided walk will depart Warren Street station just after 6pm arriving at the NLA in time for the Clean Air Together event.
Camden Highline Walking Tour by Camden Collective

Brixton Business Air Quality Seminar by Brixton BID and Cross River Partnership
9am – 10am, Weds 20 June at Adulis Restaurant, 21 Brixton Station Road, London SW9 9PB.
There are many things businesses can do to improve air quality for your staff as well as customers while reducing costs at the same time. Share your views about deliveries of goods and services in Brixton, what works and what doesn’t and what potential solutions could look like. RSVP on Eventbrite.
Clean Air Week Expo by Brixton BID
10am – 4pm (Weds 20 and Thurs 21 June), Brixton Station Road, London SW9.
A two-day sustainability exhibition on Brixton Station Rd showcasing electric vehicles and other clean air, greening and low emission initiatives. More info on Facebook.
Lambeth Clean Air Week by London Borough of Lambeth
From Monday 18th June, across Lambeth

Free Low Carbon Trials by Camden Climate Change Alliance
Free zero-emission cargo bike and video conferencing trails to help Camden businesses explore options for reducing air pollution from their business operations. For more information see Camden Climate Change Alliance’s website.
Cleaner Streets Initiative by the Northbank BID
8AM – 10AM, Thu 21 June, Embankment Station, Villiers Street
Meet the team behind the Northbank Cleaner Streets Initiative. The first Cleaner Streets route for walkers from Embankment towards Covent Garden was launched in May. Come and find out more and maybe pick up a goodie or two… Look out for us under a marquee on the Victoria Embankment garden steps
Clean Air Day in Hammersmith by Hammersmith London BID & London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham
12pm – 3pm, Thu 21 June, Lyric Square, Hammersmith.
Join Hammersmith BID and borough officers for an anti-engine idling campaign, an air quality information gazebo, pledge campaign and big screen on Lyric Square.
Play Streets by Better Bankside in collaboration with Museum Rotterdam
3pm – 6pm, Thurs 21 June on Redcross Way, SE1 1TA.
As part of the MERGE Festival programme, Redcross Way will be closed to traffic between Southwark and Union Streets for an afternoon of the well-known urban game, Kerby. As well as taking the opportunity to go traffic free and reclaim the streets, this activity also aims to connect young people in urban communities – a group of young people from Rotterdam will be coming over to join the fun. Clean Air Walk by Better Bankside
5pm – 6pm, starting at Bankside Community Space, 18 Great Guildford St, London SE1 0FD.
Bankside’s Urban Forest Manager, Valerie Beirne will host a walking tour of the Low Emission Neighbourhoods (LENs) and Low Line to celebrate Better Bankside’s successful work in improving local air quality, and our ongoing projects. The walk will commence at 5pm at our Community Space and end at 6pm in Union Yard Arches for a celebratory drink. See Better Bankside’s website for more information.
